Learn On Location

Product box Keep your Web site designs true to your original vision. Learn some basic techniques at this Dreamweaver® CS3 Workshop sponsored by AIGA Cleveland and Adobe.

Do you design your Web sites in Photoshop® and then rely on a developer to interpret the design online? Do you feel like your designs sometimes lose a little something in that process? We’ll show you some basic Dreamweaver skills that will help you work more collaboratively with your Web developer by allowing you to jumpstart your Photoshop design in Dreamweaver CS3. Workshop attendees will learn how to:

  • Slice up your Photoshop design and paste the elements into Dreamweaver
  • Visually build your design from scratch in HTML/CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) using the visual design tools in Dreamweaver
  • Create and incorporate Photoshop CS3 Extended and Flash® animations
  • Easily navigate and work with film, video and animation files in the enhanced Animation palette
  • Use Movie Paint for painting, cloning, and healing on video layers
  • Import layered Photoshop and Illustrator files into Flash, animate them, and export them automatically as ActionScript™ 3.0 to hand off to developers

Attendees will be entered to win Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium, but you must be present to win.

Don’t miss this important Web design event. You’ll like how it feels to have more control over the finished product!

It isn't clear weather these two sessions cover the same material, or if it makes sense to register for both. Please email me with this information so I can plan accordingly. Thanks! Cara
